FENG SHUI BAGUA MAP

Bagua is the feng shui energy map of your space and shows you which areas of your home are connected to specific areas of your life. As every crystal brings its own energy, understanding the energy of different crystals can help you decide which areas of your home are the best places to promote their individual positivity and tranquillity.

To find the facing direction of your house, just take a compass reading of the front door. In Feng Shui the ‘front door’ is the actual door that the house was originally built with.

FENG SHUI & POPULAR CRYSTALS TO USE IN YOUR HOME:

AMETHYST:

Being a primary stone for deflecting negative energy, Amethyst can redirect positive energy into the different areas of your life. Also good to place in the bedroom, where it will help you relax.

BLACK TOURMALINE:

Place near the front entrance door of your home, which is where all energy enters and leaves. Being a very powerful stone, it will help absorb negative energies within a person or area entering your home

CARNELIAN:

Another good stone to place by the front door is Carnelian, as it encourages abundance into your home and can also benefit health and well-being. It can also increase the flow of energy in a room, turning it into a peacefully warm and joyful energy. Carnelian is also great for enhancing creativity.

CELESTITE:

Celestine disperses negative energy in any room and can also be used in different areas of the home. For partners and relationships, place two pieces in the south west area of your home or to encourage good health, place a piece in the centre area of your home. Being a stone to sooth and calm, one can also be placed in the bedroom to promote restful sleep and wonderful dreams.

CITRINE:

A popular stone for attracting wealth and prosperity and is good to use in areas where you work with money – maybe in your home office. You can also place a larger piece of Citrine in the furthest left South East corner of your home. A small piece can also be placed in your purse or wallet.

CLEAR QUARTZ:

Place Clear Quartz in the south of your home. It can also be placed in many other areas in the home, for instance, in the living room it provides understanding and support, or if placed on a desk during times of study it can help with information and clarity of thought. In addition, a bowl of Clear Quartz tumbled stones placed in the centre of your home will emit the qualities of Clear Quartz around the entire home. It is also good for clearing energy in the bathroom.

FLUORITE:

Being a calming stone, it is good to use Fluorite in your favourite place of relaxation. It will neutralise negative energy, calm a racing mind and bring peace and tranquillity.

JADE:

Placed by the front door it will welcome in good luck. It can also be placed in the east (left side) of the home where it is said to strengthen relationships and boost your health. Avoid placing your Jade crystal right next to your bed.

PYRITE:

Good to display in a prominent position in the south east corner, being the wealth and money area of your home, where it will bring wealth and an energising effect to your home.

ROSE QUARTZ:

If placed in the south west (far right) corner of your home, it will encourage harmony in relationships for everyone in the home. You can also place a piece of Rose Quartz, or even a heart shaped piece of Rose Quartz, in the south west (far right) corner of your bedroom to encourage love into your life.

SELENITE:

Selenite promotes a peaceful atmosphere in the home and it is good to place in areas where you entertain, as it brings energy and life into the space. Being an uplifting stone, it also purifies and cleanses the air and clears out negative vibes.

TIGERS EYE:

Ideally placed around windows and near the front door, it is also a great stone for protecting children – a piece can be placed in their room or worn as a bracelet for protection.

PLEASE NOTE: Although some believe that Quartz and Selenite never need cleansing, we would recommend that you do re-charge them.
